आजघ्ने सारथिं चास्य सुषेणं च ततस्त्रिभि:॥ ३८॥
चिच्छेद चास्य सुदृढं धनुर्भल्लैस्त्रिभिस्त्रिधा।
अनुवाद
राजन! शत्रु योद्धाओं का संहार करने वाले नकुल ने अपने बाणों से समस्त दिशाओं को आच्छादित कर दिया और फिर तीन बाणों से सुषेण तथा उसके सारथि को घायल कर दिया। इसके अतिरिक्त, उसके बलवान धनुष पर तीन भालों से प्रहार करके उसके तीन टुकड़े कर दिए।
