भानुसेनं च दशभि: साश्वसूतायुधध्वजम्।
पश्यतां सुहृदां मध्ये कर्णपुत्रमपातयत्॥ २७॥

इतना ही नहीं, अपितु अपने हितैषी मित्रों के देखते ही देखते उसने कर्ण के पुत्र भानुसेन को दस बाणों से उसके घोड़े, सारथि, अस्त्र-शस्त्र तथा ध्वजाओं सहित मार डाला।
Not only this, but in front of the eyes of his well-wishing friends, he killed Karna's son Bhanusena with ten arrows along with his horse, charioteer, weapons and flags.
