परवाच्येषु निपुण: सर्वो भवति सर्वदा।
आत्मवाच्यं न जानीते जानन्नपि च मुह्यति॥ ४४॥
अनुवाद
लोग दूसरों के दोष बताने में तो सदैव कुशल होते हैं; परन्तु अपने दोषों से अनभिज्ञ रहते हैं, अथवा उन्हें जानकर भी अज्ञानी होने का ढोंग करते हैं ॥44॥
People are always adept at pointing out the faults of others; but they are unaware of their own faults, or even after knowing them they pretend to be ignorant. ॥ 44॥
