यथैव मत्तो मद्येन त्वं तथा लक्ष्यसे वृष।

| परंतु वृषभरूपी कर्ण! जैसे कोई मदिरा के नशे में चूर हो गया हो, वैसे ही तुम भी उन्मत्त दिख रहे हो; अतः हितैषी और दयालु हृदय होने के कारण मैं आज तुम्हारे समान पुरुष का भी सत्कार करूँगा॥3॥ |
