शल्य उवाच
विरम विरम कर्ण कत्थना-
दतिरभसोऽप्यतिवाचमुक्तवान्।
क्व च हि नरवरो धनंजय:
क्व पुनरहो पुरुषाधमो भवान्॥ ३३॥
अनुवाद
शल्य ने कहा- कर्ण! अब अतिशयोक्ति बंद करो, रुको। तुमने अपने उत्साह और बल में बहुत कुछ कह दिया है। भला, कहाँ हैं पुरुषोत्तम अर्जुन और कहाँ हैं तुम, जो मनुष्यों में अधम हो?॥33॥
Shalya said- Karna! Now stop exaggerating, stop. You have said too much in your enthusiasm and power. Well, where is Arjun, the best of men and where are you, the worst of humans?॥ 33॥
