भारतवर्षके मोती और मूंगे से रंगे हुए तथा रत्नों और सुवर्णसे विभूषित ध्वज, विचित्र आभूषण, स्वर्ण-कवच, वैजयंती, पताकाएँ, हाथियोंके झूले और कम्बल, चमकते हुए तीखे अस्त्र-शस्त्र, घोड़ोंकी पीठपर बिछे हुए वस्त्र, कुंभस्थलपर तथा हाथियोंके सिरोंपर सुशोभित सोने-चाँदीकी मालाएँ और दंतवस्त्र- इन सब वस्तुओंके कारण दोनों दलोंकी सेनाएँ वर्षाऋतुमें खद्योत, ऐरावत आदि मेघोंकी पंक्तियाँ और बिजलीवाले मेघ दिखाई दे रहे थे। 28—31 1/2॥
