तत: प्रववृते युद्धं तयोरत्यद्भुतं नृप।
यथा पूर्वं महद् युद्धं शम्बरामरराजयो:॥ ३०॥ |

| हे मनुष्यों! जैसे पूर्वकाल में शम्बरासुर और देवराज इन्द्र के बीच महान युद्ध हुआ था, उसी प्रकार उस समय भी उन दोनों के बीच अद्भुत युद्ध आरम्भ हो गया। |
