रथ अपने सुंदर उपकरणों, आसनों, डंडों, रस्सियों और पहियों सहित चूर-चूर हो रहे थे। उनके धुरे टूट गए थे और जुए टुकड़े-टुकड़े होकर पड़े थे। वे टूटे हुए रथ अनेक ढालों और धनुषों सहित इधर-उधर बिखरे पड़े थे। बहुत से हार, आभूषण, वस्त्र और बड़ी-बड़ी ध्वजाएँ भूमि पर पड़ी थीं। बहुत से हाथी और घोड़े मारे गए थे और बहुत से क्षत्रिय भी मारे गए थे। इस सब के कारण वहाँ की भूमि देखने में अत्यंत भयानक प्रतीत हो रही थी। 30-32।
The chariots were being crushed to pieces along with their beautiful equipments, seats, staffs, binding ropes and wheels. Their axles were broken and the yokes were lying in pieces. Those broken chariots were scattered here and there along with many shields and bows. Many necklaces, ornaments, clothes and big flags were lying on the ground. Many elephants and horses were killed and many Kshatriyas were also killed. Due to all this, the land there appeared very dreadful to look at. 30-32.
