तदनन्तर क्रोध से भरे हुए यमराज, वज्रधारी इन्द्र, दण्डधारी असह्य अन्तक, मृत्यु को प्रेरित करने वाले, किसी से भी विचलित न होने वाले त्रिशूलधारी रुद्र, पाशधारी वरुण और प्रलयकाल के अग्निदेव के समान प्रचण्ड योद्धा अर्जुन, समस्त लोकों को भस्म करने के लिए उठती हुई ज्वालाओं के साथ, रणभूमि में अपने श्रेष्ठ रथ पर आरूढ़ होकर, गाण्डीव धनुष की टंकार करते हुए, उदित होते हुए सूर्य के समान चमकने लगे। वे क्रोध, क्षोभ और बल से प्रेरित होकर आगे बढ़ रहे थे। उन्होंने ही पूर्वकाल में निवातकवच नामक राक्षसों का वध किया था। वे अपने नाम जय के अनुरूप विजयी थे। वे सत्य में स्थित होकर अपनी महान प्रतिज्ञा को पूर्ण करने के लिए तत्पर थे। उन्होंने कवच धारण किया हुआ था। उनके मस्तक पर जम्बुण्ड स्वर्ण का मुकुट था। उनकी कमर में तलवार लटक रही थी। नारायणरूप भगवान श्रीकृष्ण के पीछे-पीछे चलते हुए, मानवरूपी अर्जुन सुंदर कंगन और मनोहर कुण्डलों से सुशोभित थे। उन्होंने श्वेत माला और श्वेत वस्त्र धारण किए हुए थे। ॥15-19॥
Then the raging Yamraj, Indra wielding thunderbolt, the unbearable Antak wielding a stick, death inducing death, Rudra wielding a trident who is not agitated by anyone, Varun wielding a noose and Arjuna, the fierce warrior like the Agnidev of the time of doomsday, with flames rising to burn all the people, mounted on his best chariot in the battlefield and started shining like the rising sun, twanging the Gandiva bow. He was moving forward, inspired by anger, resentment and strength. He was the one who had killed the demons named Nivatakavacha in the past. He was victorious as per his name Jai. He was ready to complete his great vow by being situated in truth. He was wearing armour. He wore a crown made of Jambunda gold on his head. A sword was hanging from his waist. Arjuna in human form, following Lord Krishna in the form of Narayana, was adorned with beautiful bracelets and lovely earrings. He was wearing white garland and white clothes. ॥15-19॥
