वीरो दिष्टान्तमापन्न: शोचयन् बान्धवान् बहून्॥

| वह पुण्यात्माओं के लोक में चला गया है। उसने भी उन्हीं शुभ लोकों को प्राप्त किया है जो पुण्य के बल से स्वर्ग को जीतने वाले पुण्यात्मा पुरुषों को प्राप्त होते हैं। उसने युद्ध में कभी विनम्रता नहीं दिखाई। शत्रुओं को आतंकित करते हुए और बन्धु-बान्धवों को आनन्द प्रदान करते हुए, उसने बार-बार अपने पूर्वजों और मामा का नाम प्रसिद्ध किया और अपने असंख्य बन्धु-बान्धवों को शोक में डालते हुए मर गया। तब से हम लोग शोक में हैं और इस समय हम तुमसे मिले हैं। |
