नारदजी कहते हैं- राजन! ब्रह्माजी की उस सलाह से और विशेषतः उनके शाप के भय से भयभीत होकर वह मृत्यु नाम की स्त्री उनसे बोली - 'बहुत अच्छा, आपकी आज्ञा स्वीकार है।' वही मृत्यु अंत समय आने पर काम और क्रोध को त्यागकर आसक्तिरहित समस्त जीवों के प्राणों का हरण कर लेती है।॥44॥
Naradji says- Rajan! That woman named Mrityu, frightened by that advice of Lord Brahma and especially by the fear of his curse, said to him - 'Very good, your order is accepted'. The same death, when the end comes, abandons lust and anger and snatches away the lives of all living beings without any attachment. 44॥
