पल्वलानि च सर्वाणि सर्वांश्चैव तृणोलपान्।
स्थावरं जङ्गमं चैव नि:शेषं कुरुते जगत्॥ ९॥
तदेतद् भस्मसाद्भूतं जगत् स्थावरजङ्गमम्।
प्रसीद भगवन् स त्वं रोषो न स्याद् वरो मम॥ १०॥
अनुवाद
यह समस्त छोटे-छोटे जलाशयों, सब प्रकार के घास-फूस, लताओं तथा स्थावर-जंगम जगत को पूर्णतः नष्ट कर रहा है। इस प्रकार समस्त जड़-चेतन जगत जलकर राख हो गया है। हे प्रभु! आप प्रसन्न हों। आपके मन में क्रोध न रहे, यही वर मुझे आपसे प्राप्त हो।॥9-10॥
It is completely destroying all the small water bodies, all kinds of grass and creepers and the mobile and immobile world. Thus the entire animate and inanimate world has been burnt to ashes. O Lord! Please be pleased. May there be no anger in your mind, may this be the boon I get from you.॥ 9-10॥
