अत्र मे संशय: प्राप्त: कुत: संज्ञा मृता इति।
कस्य मृत्यु: कुतो मृत्यु: केन मृत्युरिमा: प्रजा:॥ १८॥
हरत्यमरसंकाश तन्मे ब्रूहि पितामह।

मुझे संदेह है कि ये क्यों मरे हुए कहे गए हैं? किसकी मृत्यु होती है? किस कारण से होती है? और इन विषयों (प्राणियों) का अपहरण क्यों होता है? हे देवतुल्य पितामह! कृपया मुझे ये सब बातें बताइए॥18 1/2॥
I have a doubt as to why they are said to have died. Whose death occurs? For what reason does it occur? And why does it abduct these subjects (beings)? O godlike grandfather! Please tell me all these things.॥18 1/2॥
