तत् प्रसक्तमिवात्यर्थं युद्धमासीद् विशाम्पते॥ २२॥
ततस्तत् कुञ्जरानीकं व्यधमद् धृष्टमार्जुनि:।
यथा वायुर्नित्यगतिर्जलदान् शतशोऽम्बरे॥ २३॥ |

| प्रजानाथ! तत्पश्चात् वहाँ बहुत निकट ही घोर युद्ध होने लगा। अर्जुनकुमार ने तीखे बाणों से उस धृष्ट गजसेना को उसी प्रकार नष्ट कर दिया, जैसे सनातन वायु आकाश में सैकड़ों बादलों को छिन्न-भिन्न कर देती है॥22-23॥ |
