युद्धस्थल में वे बाण प्रज्वलित मुख वाले सर्पों के समान अग्नि उगल रहे थे; कुन्तीपुत्र भीमसेन उनसे इस प्रकार आच्छादित थे मानो उन पर स्वर्णमयी चिंगारियाँ पड़ रही हों ॥57॥
On the battlefield those arrows were spewing fire like serpents with blazing mouths; Bhima, the son of Kunti, was covered by them as if golden sparks were falling on him. ॥ 57॥
