जैसे मांस के टुकड़े के लोभ से बाज़ बड़े वेग से आक्रमण करता है, उसी प्रकार द्रोणाचार्य और धृष्टद्युम्न युद्धभूमि में बड़े वेग से एक दूसरे पर आक्रमण करने लगे ॥31॥
Just as a hawk, greedy for a piece of meat, attacks with great speed, similarly, Dronacharya and Dhrishtadyumna attacked each other with great speed on the battlefield. ॥ 31॥
