भरत! हमने कुन्तीकुमारों को छल से छला, विष देकर मारा, लाक्षागृह में जलाया, जुए में हराया और राजनीति की सहायता से वन में भेज दिया। इस प्रकार देवताओं ने हमारे सारे प्रयत्न नष्ट कर दिए॥28-29॥
Bhaarat! We deceived Kuntikumars with deceit, used poison to kill them, burnt them in Lakhshagriha, defeated them in gambling and with the help of politics sent them to the forest. Thus, all our efforts were ruined by the gods.॥28-29॥
