यच्च न: प्रेक्षमाणानां कृष्णामानाय्य तत्सभाम्।
अनर्हन्तीं कुले जातां सर्वधर्मानुचारिणीम्॥ १५॥
तस्याधर्मस्य गान्धारे फलं प्राप्तमिदं महत्।
नो चेत् पापं परे लोके त्वमर्च्छेथास्ततोऽधिकम्॥ १६॥ |

| इसके अतिरिक्त तुमने द्रौपदी को सभा में बुलाकर हमारे सामने उसका जो अपमान किया, वह अपमान उसके योग्य नहीं था। वह कुलीन कुल में उत्पन्न हुई थी और सदैव सब धर्मों का पालन करती थी। हे गांधारीपुत्र! द्रौपदी के अपमान के पाप के कारण ही तुम्हारी सेना का विनाश हुआ है। यदि तुम्हें यहाँ यह फल न मिलता, तो परलोक में तुम्हें उस पाप का और भी बड़ा दण्ड भोगना पड़ता। ॥15-16॥ |
