धनुर्ज्यामच्छिनत् तूर्णं भीमस्तस्य क्षुरेण ह॥ ३१॥

तत्पश्चात् उसने पुनः सैकड़ों-हजारों बाणों द्वारा उस पर आक्रमण किया। महाधनुर्धर कर्ण के बाणों से पीड़ित होकर भीमसेन ने तुरन्त ही छुरे से उसके धनुष की डोरी काट दी।
Thereafter he again attacked him with hundreds and thousands of arrows. Suffering from the arrows of the strong archer Karna, Bhimasena immediately cut the string of his bow with a razor.
