जिस प्रकार शरीर पर चमड़ा लपेटा जाता है, उसी प्रकार जिन्होंने अपने रथ की गर्जना से सम्पूर्ण पृथ्वी को आच्छादित कर दिया था, जो महाबली शत्रुओं का संहार करने वाले तथा महारथी थे, जिन्होंने अपनी प्रजा को पुत्र के समान माना तथा उत्तम भोजन, जल और प्रचुर दक्षिणा के साथ निर्विघ्न दस अश्वमेध यज्ञ सम्पन्न किए, तथा जिन्होंने अनेक सर्वमेध यज्ञ किए, वे राजा उशीनर के पराक्रमी पुत्र सर्वत्र विख्यात हैं। उशीनर के पुत्र ने अपने यज्ञ में ब्राह्मणों को उतनी ही गायें दान में दी थीं जितनी गंगा के उद्गम पर बहने वाली बालू के कण हैं।
Just as leather is wrapped around the body, similarly the one who had covered the entire earth with the loud noise of his chariot, who was the slayer of the most important enemies and a great warrior, who treated his subjects like his own sons and performed ten Ashwamedha Yagyas without any obstacles, with good food, drink and abundant dakshina, and who performed many Sarvamedha Yagyas, those valiant sons of King Ushinar are famous everywhere. The son of Ushinar had given as many cows to the Brahmins in his yagya as the number of sand particles that flow at the source of the Ganges.
