उस तेजस्विनी ने उस महान त्रिशूल को उपर्युक्त बाण से काट डाला। वह स्वर्ण-मंडित त्रिशूल दो टुकड़ों में टूटकर ऊपर की ओर उछला। उस समय वह इन्द्र के हाथ से गिरकर महान वज्र के समान शोभायमान हो उठा।
That swift king cut that great trident with the above mentioned arrow. That golden decorated trident broke into two pieces and leapt upwards. At that time it fell from Indra's hand and looked as beautiful as a great thunderbolt.
