अजातशत्रु: समरे महात्मा
शिखण्डिनं क्रुद्ध उवाच वाक्यम्॥ १९॥

जब शान्तनुपुत्र भीष्म ने शिखण्डी का धनुष काट डाला, तब युद्धस्थल में महाबली युधिष्ठिर, जो बेताज बादशाह थे, शिखण्डी की ओर देखकर कुपित हो उठे और क्रोधपूर्वक उससे इस प्रकार बोले-॥19॥
When Shantanu's son Bhishma cut off Shikhandi's bow, then in the battlefield, the great Yudhishthira, who was the uncrowned king, became infuriated looking at Shikhandi and spoke to him angrily as follows -॥19॥
