तत्पश्चात् राजा जयद्रथ, जो अत्यन्त बलवान, बुद्धिमान तथा अपने वचन का पक्का था, युद्ध में आगे आया और उसने अपने उत्तम धनुष से उन महाबली योद्धाओं के धनुषों को बलपूर्वक काट डाला।
Thereafter King Jayadratha, who was very powerful and wise and true to his word, came forward in the battle and forcefully cut off the bows of those mighty warriors with his excellent bow.
