वह महारथी आपके पुत्रों को साथ लेकर अनेक राजाओं से घिरा हुआ युद्ध में वीर अर्जुन के आगे गया और उसे आगे, पीछे और बगल से सब ओर से घेर लिया और जैसे बादल सूर्य को ढक लेते हैं, उसी प्रकार उसने बाणों से अर्जुन को ढक दिया ॥53-54॥
That mighty car-warrior, surrounded by many kings, taking along with him your sons, went before the valiant Arjuna in the battle and surrounded him from all sides - in front, behind and on the sides - and just as clouds cover the sun, in the same manner he covered Arjuna with arrows. ॥53-54॥
