उन तीनों वीरों का युद्ध अत्यन्त रोमांचकारी था। इरावान ने क्रोधित होकर देवताओं के समान सुन्दर विन्द और अनुविन्द नामक दोनों भाइयों को अपने मुड़े हुए तीखे बाणों से तत्काल घायल कर दिया। वे भी युद्धभूमि में युद्ध करने में निपुण थे। अतः उन्होंने भी इरावान को घायल कर दिया॥13-14॥
The battle between those three heroes was very thrilling. Iravan got angry and instantly wounded the two brothers Vind and Anuvind, who were as handsome as gods, with sharp arrows having bent ends. They too were adept at fighting in the battlefield. Hence, they too pierced Iravan.॥13-14॥
