तत्पश्चात् सिन्धु के रथियों में श्रेष्ठ राजा जयद्रथ कुछ सज्जनों के साथ आया और दुर्योधन की पीठ की रक्षा का कार्य अपने हाथ में ले लिया ॥17॥
Thereafter, King Jayadratha, the best among the charioteers of Sindhu, came along with some good men and took up the task of protecting the back of Duryodhana. 17॥
