न गोष्ठॺा नोपकारेण न च बन्धुनिमित्तत:।
न सौहृदबलैर्वापि नाकुलीनपरिग्रहै:॥ १०॥
अनुवाद
इनमें से किसी को भी मित्र-सभा से लाकर, सामान्य कृपा करके, भाई होने के कारण, सौहार्दपूर्वक या बलपूर्वक सेना में सम्मिलित नहीं किया गया है। जो लोग कुलीन कुलों के नहीं हैं, उन्हें भी इस सेना में सम्मिलित नहीं किया गया है॥10॥
None of these people have been included in the army by bringing them from a gathering of friends, by doing general favours, because they are brothers, out of cordiality or by using force. People who are not from noble families have also not been included in this army.॥10॥
