वयं हि त्वां समाश्रित्य भीष्मं चैव पितामहम्।
देवानपि रणे जेतुं प्रार्थयामो न संशय:॥ १९॥
किमु पाण्डुसुतान् युद्धे हीनवीर्यपराक्रमान्।
स तथा कुरु भद्रं ते यथा वध्यन्ति पाण्डवा:॥ २०॥ |

| हम लोग आपकी और पितामह भीष्म की शरण में आकर युद्धस्थल में देवताओं को भी परास्त करने की इच्छा रखते हैं, इसमें संशय नहीं है। फिर बल और पराक्रम से हीन पाण्डवों को परास्त करने में क्या बड़ी बात है? आप धन्य हों। आप ऐसा प्रयत्न करें कि पाण्डव मारे जाएँ।॥19-20॥ |

| We, taking refuge in you and grandfather Bhishma, desire to defeat even the gods in the battlefield, there is no doubt about it.
