उस समय शिनिवंश के प्रधान योद्धा सात्यकि ने, जो सच्चे योद्धा थे, अपने प्रबल धनुष से शत्रुओं का संहार करते हुए तथा आपके पुत्र की सेना को कंपाते हुए पितामह भीष्म पर आक्रमण किया॥27॥
