राजेन्द्र! तत्पश्चात् आपके पुत्र दुर्योधन की प्रेरणा से मद्रदेश के पच्चीस हजार योद्धाओं ने त्रिगर्तों और केकयों सहित शत्रुओं का वध करने की इच्छा रखने वाले किरीटधारी अर्जुन और उनके पुत्र को घेर लिया। वे सभी धनुर्वेद के श्रेष्ठ ज्ञाता थे और युद्धस्थल में शत्रुओं के लिए अजेय थे। 12-13॥
Rajendra! Then, inspired by your son Duryodhana, twenty-five thousand warriors of Madradesh along with the Trigartas and Kekayas surrounded the crowned Arjuna along with his son who was desirous of killing the enemy. All of them were the foremost experts in Dhanurveda and were invincible to the enemies in the battlefield. 12-13॥
