सात्यकि ने दूर से देखा कि किरीटधारी अर्जुन को घोड़ों, पैदलों और सारथियों सहित लाखों सैनिकों ने घेर लिया है। हाथी-राजाओं और युवा-सेनापतियों ने भी उन्हें चारों ओर से घेर लिया है।
