वसुदेवनन्दन श्रीकृष्ण के ऐसा कहने पर अर्जुन ने उनसे इस प्रकार कहा - 'भगवन्! इन घोड़ों को वहाँ ले चलो जहाँ भीष्म उपस्थित हैं। इस सेनारूपी समुद्र में प्रवेश करो। आज मैं कुरुकुल के वृद्ध पितामह, वीर एवं पराक्रमी भीष्म को उनके रथ से नीचे गिरा दूँगा।' 47-48॥
When Vasudevanandan Shri Krishna said this, Arjun replied to him thus - 'Lord! Drive these horses to where Bhishma is present. Enter this ocean of army. Today I will throw down the old patriarch of Kurukula, the brave and courageous Bhishma, from his chariot. 47-48॥
