तत: शुभामापततीं स शक्तिं
विद्युत्प्रभां शान्तनवेन मुक्ताम्।
गदां च मद्राधिपबाहुमुक्तां
द्वाभ्यां शराभ्यां निचकर्त वीर:॥ ११२॥
अनुवाद
तत्पश्चात् वीर अर्जुन ने दो बाणों से शान्तनुनन्दन भीष्म की छोड़ी हुई बिजली के समान शक्तियों को तथा मद्रराज शल्य की भुजाओं से छूटी हुई गदा को भी काट डाला ॥112॥
After that, the brave Arjun cut down with two arrows the lightning-like powers released by Shantanunandan Bhishma and also the mace freed from the arms of Madraraja Shalya. 112॥
