अनुवाद
हे भरतपुत्र! भीष्म का वह अत्यन्त ऊँचा ध्वज, जो चाँदी का बना हुआ, सुवर्ण से विभूषित तथा कमल के चिन्ह वाला था, सुभद्रापुत्र के बाणों से छिन्न-भिन्न होकर भूमि पर गिर पड़ा।
O son of Bharata! That very high flag of Bhishma, made of silver, decorated with gold and bearing the symbol of a lotus, was torn to pieces by the arrows of Subhadra's son and fell to the ground.
