भीष्म उवाच
न स्म तं तात पश्यामि समरे यो जयेत माम्।
न तावन्मृत्युकालोऽपि पुनरागमनं कुरु॥ ४८॥
अनुवाद
भीष्म ने कहा - पुत्र! मुझे ऐसा कोई वीर पुरुष नहीं दिखाई देता जो मुझे युद्धभूमि में परास्त कर सके। मेरी मृत्यु का समय अभी नहीं आया है; अतः अपने इस प्रश्न का उत्तर पाने के लिए तुम कभी फिर आना।
Bhishma said - Son! I do not see any such brave man who can defeat me in the battlefield. My time of death has not yet come; hence come again sometime to get the answer to this question of yours.
