महाभूतान्यहङ्कारो बुद्धिरव्यक्तमेव च ।
इन्द्रियाणि दशैकं च पञ्च चेन्द्रियगोचरा: ॥ ६ ॥
इच्छा द्वेष: सुखं दु:खं सङ्घातश्चेतना धृति: ।
एतत्क्षेत्रं समासेन सविकारमुदाहृतम् ॥ ७ ॥
अनुवाद
पाँच महाभूत, अहंकार, बुद्धि, अव्यक्त (तीनों गुणों की अव्यक्त अवस्था), दस इन्द्रियाँ और मन, पाँच इन्द्रियविषय, इच्छा, द्वेष, सुख, दुःख, आघात, जीवन के लक्षण और धैर्य - ये सब संक्षेप में कर्मक्षेत्र और उसके अंतर्विकार (विकार) कहे जाते हैं।
The five great elements, the ego, the intellect, the unmanifested (unmanifested state of the three gunas), the ten senses and the mind, the five sense objects, desire, aversion, happiness, sorrow, shock, characteristics of life and patience – all these are briefly called the field of karma and its interactions (vikar).
