मात्रास्पर्शास्तु कौन्तेय शीतोष्णसुखदुःखदाः ।

| हे कुन्तीपुत्र! सुख-दुःख का क्षणिक उदय और समय के साथ उनका लुप्त हो जाना, शीत-ग्रीष्म ऋतुओं के आने-जाने के समान है। हे भरतवंशी! ये इन्द्रियों से उत्पन्न होते हैं और मनुष्य को इन्हें अविचल निश्चय के साथ सहना सीखना चाहिए। |
