पाण्डव आप लोगों द्वारा किए गए अपमान और छल-कपट से भली-भाँति परिचित थे, तथापि आपकी ओर देखकर और यह आशा करके कि आप उनके साथ न्याय करेंगे, वे अपने मन्त्रियों सहित दीर्घकाल तक वन में कष्ट सहते हुए और सब कुछ सहते हुए रहे॥4॥
The Pandavas were well aware of the insults and deceitful behavior shown towards them by you all. However, just by looking at you and hoping that you would treat them justly, they lived in the forest for a long time along with their ministers, suffering pain and enduring everything. ॥ 4॥
