| जिन महारथी भीष्म ने रथ पर बैठकर काशी नगरी में एकत्रित समस्त राजाओं को अकेले ही महायुद्ध में परास्त कर दिया था, जिन्होंने रणभूमि में जमदग्निपुत्र परशुराम के साथ निर्भय होकर युद्ध किया था तथा जिन्हें परशुराम भी नहीं मार सके थे, उन्हीं भीष्म को आज शिखण्डी ने मार डाला। |
