किरीटधारी अर्जुन के बाणों से पीड़ित होकर रथीगण ध्वजाओं सहित भूमि पर गिर पड़े, घुड़सवार घोड़ों सहित गिर पड़े और हाथीसवार हाथियों सहित गिर पड़े। अर्जुन की भुजाओं से छूटे हुए बाणों से सम्पूर्ण पृथ्वी व्याप्त हो रही थी और राजाओं की सेनाएँ अनेक भागों में विभक्त होकर सब दिशाओं में भाग रही थीं।
Affected by the arrows of the crowned Arjuna, charioteers fell to the ground along with their flags, horsemen fell down along with their horses and elephant riders along with elephants fell down. The entire earth there was being permeated by the arrows shot from Arjuna's arms and the armies of kings running in all directions after being divided into many parts.
