महाराज! उस युद्धस्थल में कुन्तीपुत्र अर्जुन एक अतुलनीय तेजस्वी योद्धा थे और पूर्वोक्त राजा पतंगों की भाँति उनकी ओर दौड़ रहे थे। महाराज! महाबली धनंजय ने दिव्यास्त्रों का ध्यान करके उन्हें अपने धनुष पर चढ़ाया और उन अत्यन्त वेगवान अस्त्रों से उन समस्त महारथियों को सेना सहित भस्म कर दिया। जिस प्रकार अग्नि पतंगों को जला देती है, उसी प्रकार अर्जुन ने भी अपने बाणों के बल से उन सब को भस्म कर दिया।
King! In that battle-field, Kunti's son Arjuna was an incomparably brilliant warrior and the aforesaid kings were running towards him like kites. Maharaj! The mighty Dhananjaya contemplated upon divine weapons and strung them to his bow and with those extremely fast weapons, burnt all these great warriors along with their army to ashes. Just as fire burns kites, in the same way Arjuna burnt them all with the might of his arrows.
