तब शत्रु योद्धाओं का संहार करने वाले महाबली माधव को यह सहन न हुआ। आर्य! वे योगेश्वर भगवान वासुदेव अर्जुन के रजत-श्वेत रंग के घोड़ों को छोड़कर उस विशाल रथ से कूद पड़े और केवल अपनी भुजाओं को ही शस्त्र बनाकर, हाथों में चाबुक लेकर, बार-बार गर्जना करते हुए, महाबली श्रीहरि भीष्म की ओर बड़े वेग से दौड़े।
Then the mighty Madhava, the destroyer of enemy warriors, could not tolerate this. Arya! That Yogeshwara Bhagwan Vasudev, leaving Arjuna's horses of silver-white colour, jumped from that huge chariot and, carrying only his arms as weapons, with whip in his hands, roaring repeatedly, ran with great speed towards the powerful and illustrious Shri Hari Bhishma.
