न तु मन्ये स तद् वाच्यो यद् युधिष्ठिर शासनम्।
उक्तं प्रयोजनं यत् तु धर्मराजेन भारत॥ १०॥
तथा पापस्तु तत् सर्वं न करिष्यति कौरव:।
तस्मिंश्चाक्रियमाणेऽसौ लोके वध्यो भविष्यति॥ ११॥ |

| भरतनन्दन! मेरा मानना है कि धर्मराज युधिष्ठिर ने जो केवल पाँच गाँव माँगने का आदेश दिया है और जो संधि का उद्देश्य उन्होंने विनीत शब्दों में समझाया है, वह सब बातें दुर्योधन को बताना उचित नहीं है; क्योंकि कुरुवंश के लिए कलंकरूप वह पापात्मा इन सब बातों को कभी स्वीकार नहीं करेगा। यदि वह हमारा प्रस्ताव स्वीकार नहीं करेगा, तो इस लोक में अवश्य ही मारा जाएगा॥10-11॥ |

| Bharatanandan! I believe that it is not appropriate to tell Duryodhan all the things that Dharmaraja Yudhishthira has ordered to ask for only five villages and the purpose of the treaty that he has explained in humble words; because that sinful soul, who is a disgrace to the Kuru clan, will never accept all these things. If he does not accept our proposal, he will definitely be killed in this world.॥10-11॥ |
