नो चेदनुप्राप्त इहान्तक: स्यात्।
शस्त्राणि यन्त्रं कवचान् रथांश्च
नागान् हयांश्च प्रतिपादयित्वा॥ ४०॥
योधाश्च सर्वे कृतनिश्चयास्ते
भवन्तु हस्त्यश्वरथेषु यत्ता:।
सांग्रामिकं ते यदुपार्जनीयं
सर्वं समग्रं कुरु तन्नरेन्द्र॥ ४१॥ | | | | | | अनुवाद | | यदि वे मनुष्यलोक का नाश करने वाली अत्यन्त भयंकर मृत्यु को प्राप्त न हुए होते, तो ऐसी घटनाएँ देखने को न मिलतीं। अतः हे राजन! आपके सभी योद्धा युद्ध के लिए दृढ़ निश्चय करके नाना प्रकार के अस्त्र-शस्त्र, उपकरण, कवच, रथ, हाथी और घोड़ों से सुसज्जित हो जाएँ और उन हाथी, घोड़े और रथों पर सवार होकर युद्ध करने के लिए सदैव तत्पर रहें। इसके अतिरिक्त युद्ध के लिए आवश्यक समस्त वस्तुएँ भी एकत्रित कर लें॥40-41॥ | | | | If they had not received a very horrible death that would destroy the world of humans, then such things would not have been seen.
