ब्रुवतस्तत्र मे वाक्यं धर्मार्थसहितं हितम्।
निशम्य पार्थिवा: सर्वे नानाजनपदेश्वरा:॥ ३१॥
त्वयि सम्प्रतिपत्स्यन्ते धर्मात्मा सत्यवागिति।
तस्मिंश्चाधिगमिष्यन्ति यथा लोभादवर्तत॥ ३२॥ |

| मेरे मुख से धर्म और अर्थ से युक्त कल्याणकारी वचन सुनकर सभी जनपदों के राजा तुम्हारे विषय में अवश्य ही समझ जायेंगे कि युधिष्ठिर धर्मनिष्ठ और सत्यनिष्ठ हैं और दुर्योधन के विषय में भी उन्हें निश्चय हो जायेगा कि उसने लोभ के कारण ही अनुचित आचरण किया है। |
