युधिष्ठिर उवाच
श्रुतं ते धृतराष्ट्रस्य सपुत्रस्य चिकीर्षितम्।
एतद्धि सकलं कृष्ण संजयो मां यदब्रवीत्॥ ६॥
तन्मतं धृतराष्ट्रस्य सोऽस्यात्मा विवृतान्तर:।
यथोक्तं दूत आचष्टे वध्य: स्यादन्यथा ब्रुवन्॥ ७॥ |

| युधिष्ठिर बोले, "श्रीकृष्ण! आप सुन ही चुके हैं कि राजा धृतराष्ट्र और उनके पुत्र क्या करना चाहते हैं। संजय ने जो कुछ मुझसे कहा है, वह धृतराष्ट्र का मत है। संजय धृतराष्ट्र का अभिन्न रूप धारण करके आया है। उसने अपने विचार प्रकट किए हैं। दूत संजय ने तो केवल भगवान् की कही हुई बात दोहराई है; क्योंकि यदि वह उसके विपरीत कुछ कहता, तो उसे मृत्युदंड दिया जाता।" |

| Yudhishthira said, "Sri Krishna! You have already heard what King Dhritarashtra and his sons want to do. Whatever Sanjaya has told me is Dhritarashtra's opinion. Sanjaya came as Dhritarashtra's inseparable form. He has revealed his thoughts. The messenger Sanjaya has only repeated what the lord had said; because if he had said anything contrary to that, he would have been considered worthy of death. 6-7. |
