यदि कोई मनुष्य कुलीन कुल में उत्पन्न होकर वृद्ध होने पर भी दूसरों का धन हड़पना चाहे, तो वह लोभ उसकी विचारशक्ति को नष्ट कर देता है। विचारशक्ति के नष्ट हो जाने पर वह शील को भी नष्ट कर देता है॥18॥
If a man, born in a noble family and even after growing old, wants to take the wealth of others, then that greed destroys his thinking power. When the thinking power is destroyed, it also destroys his modesty.॥ 18॥
