हे भरतवंश के रत्न धृतराष्ट्र! जैसे जलती हुई लकड़ियाँ अलग-अलग रहने पर जलती नहीं, केवल धुआँ छोड़ती हैं और एक साथ रखने पर प्रज्वलित हो जाती हैं। उसी प्रकार कुटुम्ब के सदस्य आपस में मतभेद होने पर अलग रहने पर दुर्बल हो जाते हैं और एक हो जाने पर बलवान और यशस्वी हो जाते हैं॥ 14॥
Dhritarashtra, the jewel of the Bharata clan! Just as burning pieces of wood do not burn when separated, they only emit smoke and when brought together they become aflame. In the same way, family members become weak when they stay apart due to differences among themselves and when they unite, they become strong and illustrious.॥ 14॥
