अलोलुपस्तथाल्पेप्सु: कामानामविचिन्तिता।
समुद्रकल्प: पुरुष: स दान्त: परिकीर्तित:॥ १७॥
अनुवाद
जो मनुष्य लोभ से रहित है, न्यूनतम इच्छाएँ रखता है, भोगों के विचारों से दूर रहता है और समुद्र के समान गंभीर है, उस मनुष्य को दन्त (इन्द्रियों को वश में रखने वाला) कहा गया है। 17॥
The person who is free from greed, has minimum desires, stays away from thoughts of pleasures and is as serious as the ocean, that person has been called Dant (controlling the senses). 17॥
