उभौ लोकौ विद्यया व्याप्य याति
तदा हुतं चाहुतमग्निहोत्रम्।
मा ते ब्राह्मी लघुतामादधीत
प्रज्ञानं स्यान्नाम धीरा लभन्ते।
योगिनस्तं प्रपश्यन्ति भगवन्तं सनातनम्॥ १७॥ |

| अनुवाद |
| ज्ञानी पुरुष ब्रह्मविद्या के द्वारा इस लोक और परलोक दोनों का सार जानकर ब्रह्मभाव को प्राप्त करता है। उस समय अग्निहोत्र आदि कर्म न भी किए हों, तो भी वे पूर्ण माने जाते हैं। हे राजन! इस ब्रह्मविद्या से तुम अपने को छोटा न समझो और इसके द्वारा उस ब्रह्मज्ञान को प्राप्त करो, जिसे केवल धैर्यवान पुरुष ही प्राप्त करते हैं। उसी ब्रह्मविद्या के द्वारा योगीजन उस सनातन ईश्वर को प्राप्त करते हैं॥17॥ |

| A wise man attains Brahmabhaav by knowing the essence of both this world and the other world through Brahmavidya. At that time, even if he has not performed rituals like Agnihotra etc., they are considered to be complete. O King! Let this Brahmavidya not make you feel small and through it you may attain that Brahmajnana which only patient men attain. Through the same Brahmavidya, Yogis realize that eternal God.॥17॥ |
